One of our biggest concerns since moving here, is the dereliction of the town centre. Compared to the UK, Bielsko was vibrant, busy and clearly a happy place. In contract Bradford and some other cities/towns in the UK are comparatively derelict, drug ridden, high crime areas. One cause academics attribute is the lack of shops, and reasons to go there. Bielsko is following fast! Empty shops, or bl.....y banks/credit agencies (I counted 10 in about 150M on 11 Listopada). So- why is no-one trying to reverse the trend? I was on committees in Huddersfield and Middlesboro, which attempted to stem the tide. What is happening here?
