Pls be informed: The Gambia National Assembly on Wednesday ratified the Information and Communication Bill 2013 which any person found to be spreading false new, derogatory statements against The Gambia government or any public officials is liable, on conviction, to a fine of D3 million or imprisonment for 15 years. To incite dissatisfaction or instigate violence against the government or public officials using the internet (any website including Facebook) also carries the same penalty. Let me stop here because if I should continue I fall victim of the law am informing you about!
