Rapture Theory Part One: The following 2 part post is meant only to motivate people to engage in serious Bible study, not to anger or offend. Please do not reply with manmade answers from manmade traditions or opinions or television movies. Please confirm all replies with relevant Bible scriptures that affirm your reply One popular belief in mainstream churchianity, goes like this; when Jesus comes and the dead are raised to life and those that are left alive are caught up to meet Jesus in the air, this is not the second coming of Christ. The story goes that, this happens before the tribulation and that the feet of Christ do not touch the earth so it`s not the second coming. Ladies and gentlemen, Yahweh God, believe it or not, does want us to use common sense and the power to reason that He instilled in His creation. If Christ comes to earth to raise the dead and those alive that are in Christ then how can that not be the 2nd time He comes to earth? The explanation is “only those worthy of being raptured will see Him”, so it isn`t the second coming because at His second coming, all eyes will see Him coming in the clouds. So the 2nd coming is really the 3rd coming? Let`s be clear. If a huge comet was headed for a collision with our planet, and only a few scientists saw it because only they had the right kind of telescope, would that mean it wasn`t really coming? And when it passed into the atmosphere and only the people in a certain geographic location were able to see it hurtling toward earth, would it still not really be coming? Would it only be when it smashed into the planet that people would be forced to recognize that it came? Please! Friends, God is not the God of confusion. Many believe that the lukewarm, watered down, rebellious Church (no insult intended) will be raptured away to heaven in the condition that it`s in and avoid the tribulation that is coming to test the faith of those on earth at that time. If that were true wouldn`t the faithful Churches around the world that are being destroyed, their pastors murdered in the streets and the congregations being slaughtered or forced to flee, Churches that have been tempered by persecution and have no choice but to live by faith, wouldn`t God be rapturing these faithful Churches? Friends, God did not spare His own son but allowed Him to be perfected by suffering. He has not spared hundreds of millions of faithful martyrs over the centuries. How arrogant must we be to imagine that we are magically going to escape the testing of our faith? 1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Now if Jesus is descending from heaven, doesn`t that classify as coming? He is coming to earth form heaven!! With a shout and the trump of God and the voice of the archangel. Does that sound like some kind of secret coming(but not really coming)? And if only those in Christ see Him, how can they see Him if He doesn`t come?He cannot come and not come at the same time, He cannot make a square circle and He cannot lie. Mat 5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Mat 5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Mat 5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. Many of the prophets were murdered. Rev 7:14( Speaking of those gathered before the throne of God in John`s vision); These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. It’s clear that great blessings and rewards are given to the saints who endure tribulation.
