Since I have nothing else to fret about...the feral cat, Miss Kit E Kat, the one I buy catfood for and put food out for every day, but shes NOT my cat, may be in trouble. For several days the Capt and I have watched her as she slips back and forth across the road to the vent in the back of our neighbors house. She had pushed it open enough that she was staying, apparently, under their house. Long ago, she did the same thing here, and at that time she pushed aside the wire, and she raised some kittens in there. In her mind, if she cant see us, then we cant see her. Anyway, Ive watched her go in and out of that vent, and I am assuming she has a young litter under there. When I got up this morning, that VENT IS CLOSED SHUT! Now, the fretting begins....did she move herself and possible kitties before he found the open vent or are they trapped under there with no food or water???? Second question..what do I do? Shes so wild, she would not come out if called....I am just gonna fret about this until the Capt, who is beating up things on the golf course gets home.
