The 500km kitesurf expedition on a board made out of plastic waste. -------------- As many watersports enthusiasts already know, there is an awful lot of plastic waste drifting around in our oceans and beaches. Dutch artist Merijn Tinga has built a surfboard out plastic waste he found on the beaches on the North sea. With this board he is planning to kitesurf along the entire Dutch coastline: From Knokke in Belgium all the way up the Island of Borkum.
