The Brooks Estate in West Medford is a conservation area, and its a small one. There are many animals that call it home, and all they have is that little island of refuge. So when you and your friends go there and litter like crazy, start fires, and make tons of noise, you are putting an enormous amount of stress on the wildlife. The noise is not so much the problem as is the HUGE amount of litter that irresponsible and ignorant people like you bring into the place; and the fires could easily get out of control and destroy large portions of the only place these animals have. I am good friends with the caretakers of the Brooks Estate, and they have asked me to report anyone who is disrespectful to the land. I will not hesitate for a second to write down license plates and/or to call the caretakers, whom will call the environmental police. I will work closely with them to make sure fires, littering, and partying comes to an end. If you have a problem with that, please contact me or the caretakers. We will no longer sit and watch immature and irresponsible people destroy this beautiful land. If you are interested in helping clean up the destruction that these delinquents have caused, grab a trash bag and help me pick up trash.
