The essence of today’s celebration should not be lost in the euphoria of this celebration. Eid Kabir represent a day when prophet Ibrahim (Abraham), submitted himself to the command of Allah by offering to sacrifice his only son Ismail (Ishmael), in worshipping Him. Allah through this singular act, blessed prophet Ibrahim in so many ways too numerous to mention here. Nigeria can be great through sacrifice and commitment of all. Happy Salah.
