Things I have learned from using social media - Some people base their friendship with you totally off your opinions of politicians - If you post about a politician you are automatically accused of being on the other side, even if you make it totally clear you hate all political parties equally - If you like a band/video game/video game console/music type/sport/book/person that someone else doesnt like as much as you, they are required by law to tell you so - Every time I retweet Katy Perry I lose one Twitter follower of the I pwn n00bz on Twitch, yo! crowd because its not gaming, yo. I think I come out ahead here. - The people who block you are the ones who read your feeds the most often. *waves* - Using the block button, even if you do so rarely, is now considered a hellworthy trespass worse than the Plague, racism and the Holocaust combined. - Seemingly millions of people assume that what they see on your wall is the entirety of your life and that you share every second of what you are doing or thinking on it. Because, of course, we all do exactly that. - There are a surprising number of forensic experts on Facebook, able to unravel massive conspiracy theories with nothing more than 3 to 4 blurry photos from over a decade ago. - Airplanes have apparently never left any kind of trails behind them until recently - Clicking Like makes food magically appear on the tables of starving children - Being the first to post something that makes fun of something viral on the internet makes you really cool - The best way to prove your point in a mild disagreement is to unfriend somebody - People who dislike football season must inform us of the fact they dislike football season each time a football game is on - The best place to post complaints about privacy concerns in the modern world is on a website that admits that it makes bank by obtaining and selling every bit of information they can get on you - There are a surprising number of people with all the answers as to how political issues can be solved that never run for office - Everybody ate something today and knows at least one cat.
