To clarify the application guideline Top two rank holders from each department should have an endorsement from a competent authority at their respective parent institutions (point no. 15 in the application form) The HODs from each department have been requested to nominate 2 meritorious students from their respective departments i.e. 2 applications per stream, per department, per institute. For this purpose, for example, the usual two years Masters in physics and Integrated Masters in Physics may be counted as 2 different streams and 2 different applications. In case the rank holders are unable to make use of this opportunity, the HODs may opt to nominate other meritorious students
