Today I traveled to Salt Lake City. It all started with the 7 am flight. The TSA agent, a small Asian man, took my I.D. and boarding pass and started showing it to his fellow agents. I thought something was wrong but it turned out that he could not believe that John Hancock was traveling on the 4th of July! Obviously he paid attention in his citizenship class. From then on I have received nothing but comments on my name and the fact that it is Independence Day. They act like on the 4th of July I should be doing something other than traveling, maybe like signing important documents.
