UPDATE- ZARB –E- AZB 12 JUl 2014 Terrorists fired rockets on a security forces check post in Mirali from inside Mirali town. Air strikes were launched early morning today killing 13 x terrorists and destroying 7 hideouts. A huge cache of arms and ammunition was also destroyed . Most of the terrorists killed in strikes are foreigners. More details to follow. Consolidation of cleared area in Miranshah and Miranshah- Dattakhel road continues. 6 prepared Motocycle borne IEDs, and 2 Vehicle Borne IEDs, 2 Guns 12.7 mm, 1 Gun 14.5 mm, 3 Vehicles, 11 suicide jackets and huge cache of arms and ammunition were recovered during last 24 hours in area Khar Warsak and Zartangi. Three terrorists including one Uzbek have been apprehended from Boya area. Two explosive laden vehicles were destroyed through Aviation strike at Degan. Two suicide bombers were identified and chased who exploded themselves when encircled close to Boya. Meanwhile relief operation for IDP at Bannu, DI Khan, Tank and Peshawar continues at full pace. So far 96533 x ration packs each of 110 Kilogram have been distributed among IDPs. 1012 x ton Rations have been collected so far at 59 x Relief collection points established by Pakistan Army throughout the country, bulk of which have been transported to Bannu. Army doctors, specially moved to reinforce local medical effort at Bannu, are busy in providing relief to the patients. So far 12587 x Patients have been treated at the Field Medical Hospital established at Khalifa Gul Nawaz hospital Bannu by Army. #ZarbeAzb
