We continue to urge those who have not yet signed the complaint petition to please do so Please explain 200 complaints Lord Hall director general of the BBC appeared before a Select Committee of the House of Commons on Tuesday 2nd September 2014 with Lord Hall. At this time with Lord Hall were two employees of the BBC namely Mr Jonathan Munro and James Harding. Under questioning by the Committee Lord Hall stated a reporter over several days had conversations with South Yorkshire Police, he quickly on advisement changed this to a reporter having several conversations on the same day. Lord Hall also stated as a result of the BBC news media coverage of the raid by police on the home of SIR CLIFF RICHARD they had received 200 complaints which was quite a small number. At this juncture we ask was Lord Hall and the two employees under oath, when they appeared before the Select Committee Tuesday 2nd September 2014. On News Watch hosted by Samira Ahmed, Friday 5th September 2014 it was stated the BBC had received 800 complaints. Appearing at this time on News Watch was Jonathan Munro Head of News Gathering. On Tuesday 2/9/2014 Lord Hall stated the BBC had received 200 complaints then 3 days later Friday 5/9/2014, 200 became 800. One cant help feeling that Lord Hall was treated with kid gloves during questioning by the Select Committee. The reason Lord Hall was directed to appear before the Select Committee was solely due to the public outcry and anger with concerns over the format of the news media coverage of the police raid coupled with police collusion and the BBC on this matter. There is no doubt as time progresses the full facts will emerge concerning everyones role in this unsavory happening. History shows there is always a whistle blower. If you made a complaint to the BBC prior to Tuesday 2/9/2014 please let us know. If you made a complaint to the BBC between Tuesday 2/9/2014 and Friday 5/9/2014 please come back to us.
