Whenever I leave my womens studies class I get a little fire in me about society and this world that we live in. It makes me scared for when I get older and have a little girl. It also makes me sad for the extensive amount of pressure I put on myself to look a certain way and the way that I can mentally beat myself up for little imperfections. Beauty is way more than what is on the outside. Society has a disgusting way of viewing a beautifull woman. Women should be mad at the way we are portrayed in the media. Furious really. I recently started listening to a song that has lyrics that are VERY powerful and people should listen to it. More music should be put out like this for women and girls to listen to.
