While we sit and ponder what to have for Christmas lunch, lets get things in perspective and spare a thought for a broken people - broken by the major banks, the Queensland government, the Federal government and the media. As they treat our farmers like this also spare a thought for indigenous people and how they are treated - how the dozens of WA communities are being shut down because that state government will not support them any more. They too are being turfed out of their homes. What are we allowing to happen? How far can it go - as far as no food grown in any quantity in this country; foreign ownership of property (think of all the first home owners grants that were given to overseas purchasers who werent even going to live in the houses - how dumb is that?) and Chinese ownership of our land and companies. Every time you buy dairy products you may actually be buying a product produced in this country but under Chinese ownership. Is this how we want Australia to be? Its time to give Australia its old identity back and get rid of the crap that is being allowed to permeate every day life. The soul cannot prosper when the only thing in its vision is the $. Successive governments do not understand this and if they dont then the mining companies, the banks and foreign ownership will proliferate.
