Wow! What a nice tribute from another superstar. Warrior was one of those guys that you HOPED would be on the show every week. I remember Sturday Night Main Events, having to stay up later than I was supposed to, just to watch. Very few people can carry such a charisma, such energy for as long as this guy could. How could you watch WWF and NOT be a Warrior fan in the late 1980s? I mean, not even Hogan or Big John Stud could take down Andre as quick. Who could root against him and Hogan (even though I still, to this day, hate hearing Hogans music as he is coming to the ring)? As a friend on here said this morning, my eyes teared up when I heard of the passing of the Ultimate legend. Say what you will, but as this friend said, wrestling was a BIG part of my childhood. Some of these people were much more than a guy on a picture tube. Guys like the Warrior were super-human. THey were role models. The Warrior, like all of the others, had their issues and demons, but the legacy will live on with The Warrior. His legacy will live on in the ONe Warrior Nation. A promise to rely on the genius within ones self. To be inspired by this reliance so as to think, act and believe with a warriors discipline and intensity while doing the work of ones true life purpose. Rest in Peace, Warrior.
