...... and just like that, we did our very first full show set last evening in Hobart at a club called, The Grand Poohbah. It was a surprise last minute idea, discussed the night before, at around 4 in the morning by some of the Dap-Kings as they were hanging out at an after party there. They texted us in the middle of the night and asked if we were down and we said, Sure!. We were supposed to have a day off but we said, lets do it! Well, the word got out and spread and as we approached the club, there was a nice gathering of people already outside! They were as excited as were we. By the time showtime came, we had a really nice crowd of anxious, beautiful folk. After all, the show was so much fun and well received. The set showcased songs by Binky Griptite and Cochemea Gastelum and even Ms. Jones got up and did a few tunes. It was pretty groovy for our first time. The band and Sharon, the crew and all are very supportive and we are really looking forward to our record release next year and touring. Thanks Hobart! Thanks, Australia! You have been amazing and we just love you. We will always remember our very first full set being there with you all. Weve got the setlist - Gabes handwriting. Niiiiiiice~~~~~
