'Where do all the fights and quarrels among you come from? They come from your desires for pleasure,which are constantly fighting within you. You want things,but you cannot have them,so you are ready to kill; you strongly desire things,but you cannot get them,so you quarrel and fight. You do no have what you want because you do not ask God for it. And when you ask,you do not recieve it,because your motives are bad; you ask for things to use for your own pleasures.' James 4:1-3 REFLECTION.... Often,we expect God to give us what we WANT not what we NEED. What we want are material/earthly things which could end up bringing enemity between God and Us. We compare ourselves with our peers,wondering why they are now steps ahead of us,leading us to think negatively about the Father... Patience,humility and prayer are the keywords of life. God is always God of the right time,if only we are ready to subdue the flesh. PRAYER: LORD,your Grace is all I NEED.
