You need to apply now. The paperwork is intense so starting to work on all these things now is great timing. Some institutions in Canada have the deadline of December 15th. When you go to the school admission pages and see March or June, believe me, that is for residents. You need to start now. You will need a computer and internet to go through what I am about to post. Never contact me and tell me you are only on a mobile phone and cannot afford to go to an internet cafe. Let us get started. You do not apply for a scholarship, you apply for admission then indicate that you need Financial Assistance. This one is for S5 and S6 youth. You need to be a minimum of 16yrs of age. UWC -- United World Colleges offer many opportunities and in fact most with full scholarships for African Students. Most of my non #Ugandan friends, we met here. Intake is also for 2015 but now is the time to plan. They will accept form 5 or 6 (in #Uganda, S5 and S6). You need to be 16yrs of age and you will follow the IB program. You will live far away from home but you will live with students from most of all the countries in the world. When Ugandans ask me how I got my friends, they should know I attended one of these schools. It is the experience to die for. Most students from UWC schools end up in the best Universities in the world, and the best companies in the world and the best jobs in the world. Take your chance, for 2014 entry, we got only 13 applicants in #Uganda and yet we had 5 full scholarships. Please note, it is not only academics, but your dedication to Social Justice and World Peace. Do you now have any questions? Read up, you will like it. You really have only about 3 months to work on this and you cannot leave it to the University deadlines as most scholarships will be allocated well before the deadlines. Read and you will find a lot. You could start by choosing the program of interest and then explore further. Some of my non Ugandan friends and I attended this one. My graduate school was at this one and they have a very strong International Student Program with money for international students. Why will you not consider it. It does not hurt for me to mention that I attended all the 3 schools on full scholarships. If a girl from Bududa District in Uganda can do this, what is stopping you? utoronto.ca. Some of the leaders of Canada went to this University. I can give you more information about many Canadian Universities where many of my friends went. For example, my sister arrived in Canada two weeks ago and she is in the Executive MBA at this one. upei.ca. This is one of the smaller Universities in Canada with love for Africa. Take a chance..you only have to read. All the applications and any scholarship related to what I am writing has nothing to do with the Uganda Scholarship Committee of the Ugandan Government. Note that most anyone who attends any UWC College stands a chance for a full scholarship at the best Universities in the world as many of them allocate scholarships for students from UWC Colleges. I am here to help you through this process and believe me when I say you need to start now, it is because time runs very fast. For example for Canada, all students have to take the TOEFL exam and arrange for transcripts to be sent directly to each insitution. The time is now. Make use of me (do not abuse me).
