- - - so its Sunday today! I would call it a fantastic day, well it kinda is... except for my nemesis, the pastor in my neighbourhood, punctuating it as usual with his drab off-key music... But anyhoo, I can deal with that.. However, isnt it funny how religion is such a weighty determinant on who socializes with whom when theres virtually billions of stuff people could build friendships/ bonds on aside from religious alliances? It is crazy! Ive seen lifelong friends ostracize each other when one revealed his atheism, Ive read on families disowning one of their own over religious schisms. But isnt religion or lack of it supposed to be a matter between a man and his god? Why intervene and mete out judgemental calls on behalf of your god if youre not insecure enough to feel threatened when another person finds your religion as not worthy of his time? Ill tell you this, anybody who discriminates on the basis of ideological differences like religion is just a little frightened person clinging onto fantasies that make him/her feel good about him herself, thats why they wouldnt like such fantasies ridiculed or put up for scrutiny.... it threatens them to the core, highly insecure people.... #Amen #terrencemuvoti
