Responsibilities: Responsible for income tax preparation for individuals and companies. Identifies potential tax credits and liabilities and ensures accurate and complete returns are filed in a timely manner. Completes tax forms in accordance with policies and in compliance with legislation and regulations. • Prepare or assist in preparing simple to complex tax returns for individuals or small businesses (Form 1040, Form 1120, Form 1065, Form 940, Form 941, etc). • Help taxpayers by using their federal, state and local codes and see to it that clients receive the maximum benefit permitted under the law of government. • Review financial records such as income statements and documentation of expenditures. • Interview clients to get a thorough picture of financial situation. • Calculate and invoice for form preparation fees. • Consult tax law handbooks for especially difficult tax returns. • Resolve customer complaints. • Prepare tax returns using electronic filing software. מיקום: תל אביב יפו, ישראל דרישות התפקיד: Requirements: • Bachelors Degree, CPA preferred with license to practice in the US • 3+ years of experience in individual income tax preparation • Must have outstanding interpersonal skills fostering client and internal relationships • Strong understanding of tax preparation services • Proficient knowledge of Lacerte and Microsoft Office. • Proficient in the use of computer-based financial and tax applications • Ability to problem-solve and think both creatively and logically • Ability to grasp concepts quickly and demonstrate knowledge of basic technical skills, as well as related knowledge of necessary systems and procedures • A demonstrated ability to self-direct and effectively organize, prioritize and manage multiple engagements under tight deadlines • Excellent analytical, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills • Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy
