Any payments made by a donor to the HSBC account will bounce back to the donor’s bank account. Q. What are your new bank details? A. What if we are transferring from abroad? A. Is the new account live and running? A. Yes, the new account is live and fully accessible for Ummah Welfare Trust to use. Please ensure that you use thenew Islamic Bank of Britain account details given above. Q. What if we transfer via PayPal or online account? A. This has been resolved as well. All your PayPal payments will be deposited into our new Islamic Bank of Britain account. Q. What about Just Giving, Charity Giving, Pay as you Earn etc.? Will these be transferred to your new Islamic Bank of Britain account? A. Yes, all of these have been taken care of and any donations made using these methods will automatically be credited into the charitys new account with the Islamic Bank of Britain. You do not need to do anything. Q. What about my regular payments set up by standing order form? A. These payments have been automatically transferred over to Islamic Bank of Britain. As a precaution, please check your bank statement for confirmation. If for any reason your standing order is not being paid then please inform your bank of our new bank details. Please ensure that you mention the unique reference number that has already been given to you. NOTE: The unique reference number should start with STDO UWT. If you have not got one, please contact the finance department on 01204 661030. Q. What if I have set up a regular payment with Ummah Welfare Trust directly with my bank without informing you (this does not include any Standing Orders or Orphan Sponsorships processed by Ummah Welfare Trust)? A. It is important that you contact your bank immediately and inform them about the change of Ummah Welfare Trusts bank details Before contacting your bank, please contact the finance department of Ummah Welfare Trust on the above mentioned number so that we can update our records and provide you with a reference for future payments. Q. I normally go to any HSBC branch and deposit cash in to Ummah Welfare Trusts bank account. What happens now? A. If there is an Islamic Bank of Britain branch in your city, you can still deposit the same way you have been doing.
