(fine print follows:) · 3+ years of web development experience · Expert knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 · Experience with an MVC framework (Backbone, Knockout, AngularJS) and AMD (RequireJS, CommonJS) – an advantage · Backbone.js a big advantage. · Knowledge of web standards and best practices for load time reduction and accessibility. · Cross-browser compatibility (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Modern IE, Mobile Browsers, etc.) for dynamic web applications. · Knowledge of Javascript with a deep understanding of prototype-based programming, event-driven programming, AJAX and familiarity with jQuery. · Experience with responsive web layouts – an advantage · Experience with CSS preprocessors (SCSS, LESS) – an advantage · Experience with Social APIs (Facebook, Google+, YouTube, Twitter) – an advantage · Familiarity with LAMP – an advantage · Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of people. · Have a passion for first-class javascript development, fast learner, with attention to details, solution oriented at heart, dedicated and a with a healthy thirst for knowledge. · Test and optimize your work for an outstanding user experience. · Highly self-driven, responsible and keen to improve · A very good level of English is required.
