-- Healing Wounds Part 2 -- Actually deep scaring takes place because of leaving the wound venerable. Bring foreign septic substance must not be let in or around the wound until healing has taken place. Extending trust to the one who wounded you, doesnt properly nurture the wound. Forgiveness brings healing. Trust, however extended before healing, only gives the license to the one who injured you to poke around in your wound. A great deception in the minds of many leaves us to believe that you must extend trust along with forgiveness, if you think that these always must go together, it is time to establish healthier boundaries. So yes forgive, but get healthy, let your wound heal, and realize that trust is one thing that must be given only when you are certain it has been earned. -- Gary Church --
