-- Protest in Moosic, PA on Monday, DECEMBER 2nd to demand resolution in the John Tanis III Puppymill Case!!! - Its been over a year with NO COURT DATE scheduled to decide the fate of the four Weimaraners that were rescued from this horrible backyard breeder/puppymiller in Moosic, PA - which means they are not available for adoption to new homes with loving families - they are in LIMBO! There are nearly 30 dogs still remaining at this house, living in deplorable conditions, all because The Honorable Judge Vito P. Geroulo refused to issue a warrant to the Moosic Police Department for the removal of the remaining dogs, in spite of the squalid conditions, calls of dogs constantly getting out and running loose in the streets, etc. The reasoning behind his decision to deny the warrant? He contends that these dogs are NOT abused but just neglected!!! Meanwhile, dozens of dogs and puppies are being left outside 24/7 in the freezing cold and filthy conditions of this yard in Moosic PA... and weve had enough!!! We NEED a court date to prosecute this puppymill breeder once and for all and to remove the remaining dogs on his property... These dogs are suffering, possibly dying, and they need to be brought to safety.... we dont want to hear any more excuses from the justice system telling us that they are backed up! Its been over a year! Our community and TRACEYS HOPE Animal Rights Team have heard that excuse continually while these dogs suffer out in the elements! This backyard breeder, who hides behind a religious collar and calls himself a minister, has already been convicted several times on animal cruelty charges... ENOUGH! We need to stop him! He shouldnt be allowed to own or even be in the company of another animal, EVER AGAIN!!! Please join us - TRACEYS HOPE Animal Rights Team - as we protest for a court date to STOP this puppymill breeder once and for all!!!!! When: Monday, December 2, 2013 -- 9:00 am to 3:00 Pm Where: In front of Lackawanna County Courthouse, Scranton, PA Signs will be provided, or make your own. All rescues, animal lovers, concerned citizens are welcome. PLEASE make every effort to be there with us! We need to let our voices be heard as a community united; sick and tired of the justice system telling us to sit tight while warrants are denied to caring police officers and more and more dogs living in this backyard breeders home are left to suffer with no end in sight! Over the past year or so, youve seen our photos, commented on our posts and told us we should do something... Now we all need to put our comments aside and TAKE ACTION to help these poor dogs! **Were not mincing words anymore, but the protest MUST be peaceful - we ARE there to make our point, but no violence or destruction! YOU can help by standing with us at the Lackawanna County Courthouse on Dec 2nd!!!!! Again, thats from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm Thank you in advance for your support! The Animal Rights Team for Traceys Hope Hospice Care Program and Rescue for Domestic Animals, Inc.
