- 1 Thessalonians 5:4 - “Ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. ...Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.” Watch (In Night Prayers) And Be Sober - - - Jesus will soon return to earth to establish His Kingdom on earth for 1000 years. He will come to Jerusalem with His saints and angels to wage the great and final battle of Armageddon. All His adversaries will be defeated. “Then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.” Watch (in night prayers) and be sober! Prepare for His coming!
