--BELLS SPRING CAVE-- About five hundred yards behind the Old Dublin Primary School sits Bells Sprig Cave and one day Eddie me (I was asleep in class when the teacher explained where to use me and I so forgive) sat out walking to it, with the intention of some adventure down in the old cave. Upon arriving we descended down into the cave a short distance and were enjoying the cool air, a relief from the hot summer day, when we decided to step back outside and stand under the large oak tree that stood over the entrance. From a distance we heard voices and looking up saw three boys walking toward the cave. We darted back down into the cave and hid behind a large bolder! The boys hung around the entrance of the cave for awhile then began making their way down into the cave. Eddie and me waited until they got a few feet away from us and began making low groaning sounds, we were having a hard time keeping from cracking up. The boys began screaming and at the same time ran back outside. We waited a few a minute or so and stepped back outside to make our presence known, but the boys were gone, and they were never heart from again... by us anyway! Apparently we had scared them out of their wits and I can imagine them now telling their grandchildren about the time they heard the strange sounds down in Bells Spring Cave! If any of you boys, I mean, men, happen to read this...well, now you know the rest of the story! :)
