- Bit late, But happy; that not missed.- After the charismatic comedy movie “Vicky Donor”, Shoojit Sircar and John Abraham, this time have teamed up for a Political thriller. Movie starts in dark shade of the Lankan Civil War, where thousands of people getting killed and ends with assassination of “Ex PM”. It’s about the ‘90s civil war in Sri Lanka, where Anna Bhaskaran leads a rebel group called LTF. Due to cruel bloodshed, Indian government sends a peace force to weaken LTF and ensure peaceful elections. And here comes RAW agent Vikram, whose primary agenda was to get election possible by any means. He meets Jaya a journalist from London at Srilanka. Very well casted characters gives different height to this movie. Of course, John Abraham steals the show. One can treat this as recreation of a very important though unfortunate event of India – Srilanka history. This movie hits the bull’s-eye without any Item Songs or glamor. "Madras Cafe" servers very strong, dark and bitter filter Coffee.
