- CNN contributor Dr. Sanjay Gupta has long maintained a position against medical marijuana, has changed his mind on the subject and even apologized for his previous statements. Medical marijuana has been strongly opposed by conservatives in the U.S. and yet science proves that marijuana has a lot of potential of providing treatments and the future of it is even brighter.
