- Dont shut down or distance yourself from someone who is brutally honest with you. We as humans have such a strong tendency to always want to be right. I tell you the truth.. accepting constructive criticism gives you power and clarity. Understand.. theyre simply trying to show you a better way that you clearly cant see for yourself. Stop getting angry and acting irrational. Being stubborn is like being stuck in a ditch and someone offers you a ladder.. but you insist on finding an alternative way out.. so you stay there until youre forgotten. You are stopping you from finding peace in your life!
