- In any conflict, theres two distinct perspectives. One, the popular swarm of opinions catalyzed by mainstream media. Two, the ignored reality pervading the lives of the actual victims in ground zero. While our actions by any and all means is welcome, we must first think. Can we justify past genocides, simply because the victims of the past is the supposed perpetrator of the present? Can we treat this like a game, where the scores are settled in lives? Can we ignore the truth, simply because the truth is harder to comprehend, or can we afford to continue to ignore the real picture? Beyond the illusion of media, there are lives that are affected & afflicted on both sides of the border. From physical, to psychological the trauma of losing your lives & livelihoods within seconds without warning is tantamount regardless of where you live. And if you ask them, retaliation and revenge isnt the cure. So while our opinions seem harmless away from ground zero, it fuels the ignorance of our communities even further. Today, the connected society that we live in, every idea counts, any sensational opinion can go viral and so the sanity of our words and actions is crucial. Lets demand for a battle on a negotiating table away from the lives that matter, lets not fuel further the hate & ignorance that has taken humanity back a thousand years.
