-=OTPG FNM Report 6/21/13=- So, we have a early report this week thanks to all shops turning in their results by this afternoon. With 2 formats of limited and std constructed firing across all the OTPG featured shop locations, we have a good amount of results to look over. This week we start at The Green Dragon again. This FNM they fired off 4 pods of RGD limited draft, a modern draft pod and a ~20 man standard constructed, plus casual! That is a lot of magic. In the 4 pods of RGD drafting four players are reported coming out on top: Thomas Stanton Dustin Burmaister Will Bologna Robert Pankus The modern draft pod fired with a full 8 and was won by John Runyon marking some what of a return to magic since the PT Quebec. The other side of the room featured all the players that came with their deck list already sorted and geared to win. After 4 rounds of swiss your top 4 as reported are: 1st-Kristopher Hackelman packs+promo 2nd-Michael Luvaul packs+promo 3rd-Micah Kilian packs+promo There were 2 other players that prized out with booster packs however only the top 3 ranked players earn the FNM Promo Izzet Charm. Next, we hike up to the mid-state and look in on The Nexus. This FNM they fired an 8 man Standard Constructed. Amber King reports the following: $10 STD 8 players 1st- Leo Mickens 2st- Emanuel Blow 3rd- Matt Ward 4th- Phillip Jones The question is, did Ryan Radcliffe take the night off from FNM? We did not get a list of deck types used but my bet is on Jund or Reanimator. Send in a comment if you have any information on this subject. Our last stop on the FNM train brings us back to Summerville, SC and Realms Fantasy Games. The numbers were a little down this week with only 8 players looking to play standard constructed. However, Realms did answer the question: "What do you do when only 8 players come for FNM? You run 2 standard events back to back!"
