:-) Part one of a series of outings with the F19. (Many thanks to Luke and his staff from Joan Allen for the super fast delivery and support). First impressions? You can see straight away its from the Stable Block of the Eurotek/Fisher Gold Bug build and quality, extremely easy to build and really does look the Business in the Camo Colours! Straight on the field, the machine felt unbelievably light, Its Almost a switch on and go machine I was slightly confused with the ground balance but soon got the hang of it (slight hum in thresh-hold, set the left hand button, if memory serves me!, at the gain setting, 12.00 clock, press and hold down the G.G. Button on the touch pad and pump the coil). Phew...well thank god thats over! next to the sens which I set fairly high as I was on clean pasture (thats been Hammered by others for a few yrs now) and in the disc mode set to around the 8 oclock position and off I went. Now your expecting me to say I found treasure arent you or at the very least Gold and silver! but alas no, I had a cracking signal early on which resulted in a deep cow tube..... But I did manage to unearth a pre-decimal penny from around 6 inches, no not too deep and its not going to test the machine to its limits but it found it, and a lovely crisp clear signal it was too. Another couple of things I noticed too which really surprised me, I detected right under a 3 phase electric junction box...without the slightest bit of interference....Now my main machine the F75 would have gone mental under there....the next thing that stood out was how silent it was whilst searching, maybe I wasnt running her that hot as I was messing around a little but such a joy to search with. This next week or two will test her more and I cant bloody wait!! :-)
