- Saudi Arabia recently sentenced 26 people to death on charges of giving speeches critical of the Al Saud and participating in protests against the ruling family. Talk anything against the Kim dynasty in North Korea and you would probably end up serving in Hoeryong or Yodok concentration camp after getting sentenced to hard labor. Hafez Al Assad as well as his son Bashar Al Assad massacred their own citizens in Hama and Homs when they stood up against the rule of Assad family in Syria. This is what Monarchy/Family rule means, next time you call my country a Nawaz Sharifs monarchy better understand it is the very same country where you openly criticize the Sharif family, where you can speak against his policies on national television, where you can even make those jokes about Maryam Nawaz Sharif on social media that are below the belt, where you can openly chant slogans like Noora Ganja Patwari. Yes, our country is NOT best and it is NOT up to proper democratic standards but if you are comparing it with monarchy then I just dare you to live in any monarch state and criticize their ruling family publicly.
