- The thing I enjoy about truth is that it is adamant. When you give the truth to someone, it remains concrete. It is an everlasting gift that will not alter. And yet, receiving the truth can be difficult. Its hard to say if it is indeed the truth or if it is another falsehood. So many times we have experienced something we believed to be solid, something adamant, and have it fall away or transform into something completely different that it becomes hard to judge what is true without first hand knowledge. These issues tend to arise in personal relationships or emotional matters. The truth given to us by many media outlets isnt as scrutinized as much as the truth given to us by our peers. We even put ourselves under such surveillance, as we can be very good deceivers. It is curious how we feel direct connections with it are worthy of more protection than the indirect ones.
