In both terms Income & Expenditure for capital (Developemental) works. *** In the area of income we got remarkable tax without imposed any new tax, just b-coz of efficient & calculative collection method. We received Rs.520 cr.from Property tax, Rs.101.5 cr.from professional tax, Rs.119 cr.from Incremental contribution, Rs.99 cr.from paid FSI, Rs.38.4 cr.from vehicle tax & Rs.78 cr.from impact fee. *** In the area of Capital expenditure we proved our efficiency of deliver services to our citizens of Surat by reaching a huge figure of Rs.1616 cr. This is all time high for SMC over the state, among all MCs. By expending this much amount for our citizens, We have completed during last FY. 11+4 bridges. Countrys first Treasury Treatment plant. Marine Aquarium, Auditorium etc. Wind & solar power projects. Expansion of road network by 125 kms in city. Expansion of drainage network by adding 125 kms pipelines & 5-SPS. Expansion of water supply network by adding 80 kms pipelines. augmentation of WTP & WDS. Opened 11 kms long BRTS route. *** Major heads in expenditure Rs.301 cr.BRTS Rs.245 cr.Bridge cell Rs.260 cr.Drainage dpt. Rs.113 cr.Slum upgd dpt. Rs.125 cr. Water supp. dpt. Rs.50 cr. Road Dev dpt.
