-3 September as enemy pressure to capture Pohang-dong and the air field at Yonil the whole 21st regiment was deployed to meet this threat.On September 1 at 1800 hour the 52nd Fa Bn was in support of the 21st as they attacked north toward Yongdok the 52nd recived enemey artillery fire but no damage was done to the unit .However on the 3 September as Charley Battery went into a fireing position at 2400 hour a muzzle burst on the 3rd section kill Sgt Hove and wounded Cpl Olhauser Pfc Chavarria Pfc Fottin and Pfc Robidaux.It was during this operation that the 52 Fa Bn fired on a regiment of North Korean troops with good results killing or wounding 90 percent of the enemy regiment. sign 40 yards
