-Going out for a stroll. -Dont forget to bring some juice! -Ok. Closing the door, heading out, the street is dull. Not knowing where to go, all I want is to get lost. Everyday everythings just the same. Taking the same path again, my life is just that predictable. Listening to music seems to make my mind wander off, just for a while, just for the right amount of time. Mindlessly I go, without knowing what my destiny holds. Across the street and old lady staring back at me. Mindlessly, I keep going without caring, without daring. One, two, three, seven, eight, twelve, thirteen blocks Ive walked and still Im lost within my own world. My legs dont seem to want to stop, my body moves freely without my mind interfering. The breeze slowly sways my hair back and forth, causing me certain distress. My eyes are set nowhere in particular, the beat of the song seems to mark my pace. I stop. Too late. All I can do is stare, to that body lying down. Without being able to react, people starts to come and try to bring the life back to that bag of stardust. One, two, five, six, perhaps ten and eleven people surrounding that cadaver trying to bring it back. An old male posing his lips (eww) and breathing into it. Nothing happens, and all I is stare. For a sec, I realize my music has stopped. Still, all I do stare at them. Theyre desperately trying and screaming, yet I feel at peace, at ease. That weight on my shoulders has been lifted, I feel free. Suddenly, the paramedics arrive and they try really hard, to bring that body back to life. I try to tell them is in vain, yet they dont seem to listen. They kept trying for a long time, or so it seemed to me. Time took their determination and hope again, some people shed a tear. Little by little, everyone started to leave, going back to their own lives. The body laid there. Everyone went away. I stood, as I hadnt seen his face. I stood in disbelief. That body was me.
