-SAYANG...Hindi ko man lang naipasa itong pinag-isipan at may pinaghugutan kong resignation letter...SAYANG TALAGA...! After more than 3 years as a Customer Service Representative/Technical Support Representative/Certified Technician, I have come to a point wherein I have become less and less satisfied with the work situations. Therefore, I’ve decided to file my irrevocable resignation. The direction of the company, the account in which I work, and the new targets and the methods of accomplishing them are making it increasingly difficult for me to feel that I’m contributing sufficiently. And I thought that this was a company believed, as I did, that the relationship between a company and its employees should be mutually beneficial. The recently made changes within the company-mandatory work on rest day and as part of attendance in KPI, mandatory surprised overtime, unreasonable target for the repeat, transfer, and no problem found (NPF) rates and up sell incentive requirements have convinced me to do so. First of the two things I’d want to stress on is how every representative with passing up sell closed rate points has the right at least to be given a share for their efforts or should I say it in our own language – “pakonswelo de bobo”. Second is how unjust it is when you are not allowed to file sick leave with pay when there’s no credits generated yet, even if you’ve been already advice by the doctor to stay at home and get rest, or when you are not allowed to file an emergency leave unless there is a calamity happening-made me feel that the company doesn’t care at all. In addition to that, the CSAT survey wherein you cannot dispute the DSAT return during system downtime and when that specific call has been successfully transferred to supervisor or different department shows lack of a balanced and fair system really de-motivated me. Most specially those promised incentives that just remained as promise. With those being laid out, I can no longer work for a company that clearly undervalues the worth of its employees. I could share more for the purposes of an “exit interview” but I have little faith that information gathered would be compiled to formulate a retention strategy and improve the working conditions here. Even the “We want to hear it from you” project if that’s what you call that, didn’t change the situation after it came to your attention, and thats the fact that our efforts have been persistently ignored by the upper management is indicative that things are not about to change in the near future, so this letter also serves as my exit interview. I’m positive my experience isn’t one in a hundred. The AWOL and resignation rates and lack of employee engagement and satisfaction are proof of the system’s inability to attract, develop and retain representatives. I have given it much thought and it wasn’t an easy decision to make but it’s time for me to move forward to maintain my health, sanity, and overall happiness and for the betterment of my career that will allow me to achieve the goals that I have set for myself. It was an honor working for this company and I appreciate all the things that this organization has taught me. I would like to thank you for trusting and allowing me to be a part of your team. Rest assured that I’ll do my best to be productive in my remaining days in the office. Yours Sincerely, Crisella Arca Manal
