-Thought Id share my response to a bad day that a friend had in the restaurant business- Sweetheart, Ive done this for a really long time, and after every imaginable thing happening numerous times, Ive come to the conclusion that its completely unavoidable. Things will go wrong no matter what. In our business we screw up in the public eye so it can be embarrassing, oh well, a lot of things are in life. Ive also realized that its one meal of three that they will have that day, in a 7 day week, a 30 day month, a 365 day year, of a 75 yr life. Waa, waa. This is where you see my attitude around work come from, and you know, I genuinely care about every one of my people and give great service. They screw up on their jobs every day, we just dont see it and are able to scrutinize them in public. Let it roll off your back sweetheart. Youre very good at what you. Be confident of that. Ive landed flat on my back with 4 big scampi pasta dishes all over me in front of the entire dining room, Ive dumped ice water down a ladys back in her Sundays best, and Ive given terrible service from time to time. Oh well, Ho-Hum. Just another day at the office. You Bad Sista ! We just rock on and laugh about it. There will be new people and new fun to have tomorrow. :)
