^-v-^ Yesterday I received a followup phone call from Brian, the Progressive Insurance agent that handled the estimate, ordered parts, and over-saw repairs on my car. The car repairs took 10 days with him in charge. Thats a long time to go without a car when you are used to having one. I contend it should have taken 1 or 2 days. He asked me if I was happy with the car and if there was anything else that could be done. I told him what I thought and he didnt like that at all. I said the repairs should have taken 1 maybe 2 days. He said no way could they have been done in 2 days. I suppose not with his incompetent hand in charge. I mentioned 10 days was way to long for the car to be in the shop, and his replay was, Would 6 days have been better? I mentioned about the used radiator that leaked he put on my car. I asked why I wasnt asked about that used radiator since I was paying $500 towards repair with my deductible. Why didnt I get a new radiator? He pointed out WE didnt find the radiator needed to be replaced during the estimate so I wasnt available to ask. (Progressive doesnt use phones?) Didnt take any time at all for me to tell him WE didnt do the estimate, he did. Finally I told Brian what I thought he should do is quit that job and find a job he is competent to do.
