Galates 3:13-14(NRSV) Quand vous avez reçu la puissance de lÉvangile en voyant la révélation de Paul, au travers de ses épitres vous comprenez la mesure à laquelle le Seigneur Jésus-Christ sest identifié à toute lhumanité dans le but de nous amener à partager la vie de la déité. Lui qui na point connu de péché est devenu péché afin que vous qui étiez péché deveniez la justice de Dieu en Christ Jésus; Lui qui était si riche pour vous est devenu pauvre afin de vous rendre riche; Lui qui est le Fils du béni rendu malédiction pour vous. La nature de la mort de Christ par crucifixion était prophétisée dans les Écritures. Une prophétie avait été faite concernant celui qui mourra pendu sur larbre; quil portera sur lui la malédiction de toute la nation. Quand le Seigneur Jésus-Christ devait recevoir sa sentence, les juifs ont conspiré pour que les Romains conduisent une exécution par crucifixion parce quils savaient que sil était crucifié, même les juifs religieux qui le suivaient allaient changer d’avis quant à l’identité de Christ. La crucifixion pour les juifs est la pire des morts possibles. Selon eux, elle est la preuve que vous êtes abandonné par Dieu et que vous êtes une malédiction. La croix était un symbole de la malédiction et Jésus y a été placé parce quil a été rendu malédiction pour nous. Une malédiction ne signifie pas juste que des choses indésirables se produisent dans votre vie et sont au-delà de votre contrôle car dans lAncien Testament, la malédiction représentait lexcommunication; la séparation davec Dieu, laliénation de lidentité de membre du peuple de Dieu. Ainsi, Christ est devenu malédiction pour vous parce quil a ôté toute aliénation et il nexiste plus de séparation entre le Père et vous, plus de barrière car Christ la enlevé lui-même en vous représentant en lui-même. Il vous unit au Père et leffet de la malédiction a été entièrement ôté et inversé. Nul ne confesse Jésus comme Seigneur et continue de demeurer dans une condition dite maudite. Il peut ne pas en être persuadé et son expérience vitale résulte de sa persuasion, néanmoins selon lÉvangile, il est clairement enseigné que celui qui est appelé saint en Christ Jésus ne peut être à la fois sous la malédiction et la bénédiction car ces deux termes sont mutuellement exclusifs et ne se rencontrent point. Christ nous a rachetés de la malédiction de la loi, car il a été fait malédiction pour nous. Christ a-t-il été fait malédiction en vain? Certainement pas. Ceux qui ont reçu lEsprit ont aussi reçu la bénédiction dAbraham et cette bénédiction ne sidentifie pas à la pauvreté. Les effets de la bénédiction d’Abraham sont la prospérité matérielle, des possessions, l’affluence et l’influence, largent et lor, les servants et les servantes. Leffet de la bénédiction dAbraham est donc la richesse matérielle et les possessions terrestres; et c’est ce qui a été transmis aux païens. Ils étaient jadis un groupe de personnes nayant aucune association quelconque avec les affaires de Dieu. Il ya 2000 ans, quelque chose sest produit à la croix qui a changé le groupe de personnes appelées païens et juifs et a introduit un nouveau peuple appelé l’Église. Si vous êtes béni, il vous est impossible dêtre maudit car vous faites maintenant partie de lÉglise. Vous nallez pas expérimenter ce que Christ a accompli pour vous à moins que votre pensée ne se repose au-delà de tout argument sur ces réalités de lÉvangile. Confession de foi Père éternel, Je te rends grâce pour la substitution de Jésus-Christ. Il a été fait malédiction pour moi. Sur la croix, il a pris tout ce qui était associé à Adam et à sa chute. Quand il est mort et a été enseveli une fois pour toutes, mes malédictions ont été ensevelies, mes maladies ont été ensevelies, la pauvreté a été ensevelie et la mort aussi. Je professe en ce jour que Jésus-Christ est Seigneur de ma vie. Je vis par la foi du Fils de Dieu et Il me déclare béni, entier, prospère et riche, préservé, complet, entier et ne manquant de rien AMEN. Made A Curse For You! “Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us - for it is written, Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree- in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” Galatians 3:13-14 (NRSV) When you receive the power of the Gospel by seeing Paul’s revelation, throughout his epistles you see the extent to which the Lord Jesus Christ identified Himself with all humanity in order to bring us into the shared life of the Godhead. He who knew no sin became sin that you who was a sinner might become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.; He who was so rich for your sake became poor that you might become rich; He who is the Son of the blessed is made a curse for you. The nature of the death of Christ by crucifixion was prophesied from the scriptures. The one who dies in a manner in which he hangs upon a tree is prophesied that he carries upon him the curse of the whole land. When the Lord Jesus Christ was to be sentenced, the Jews conspired so that the Romans could conduct the execution by crucifixion because they knew that if He was crucified, even the religious Jews who were following Him will reconsider. Crucifixion to the Jews is the worst form of death possible. It is an indication that you are God-forsaken. To the Jews it is an indication that you are cursed. The cross was the symbol of the curse. Christ was placed on this symbol because He was made a curse for us. A curse does not just mean undesirable things are happening in your life and are beyond your control. In the Old Testament, the curse represents excommunication, separation from God, alienation from the identity of being part of the people of God. The reason why Christ became a curse for you is because He has removed all alienation; there is no separation between you and the Father. There is no barrier; Christ has removed it by Himself by representing you in Himself. He joins you to the Father. The effect of the curse has been completely removed and reversed. There is no one person who confesses Jesus is Lord and still be in a condition that is called cursed. They may not be persuaded of that and therefore their experience in life follows their persuasion. Nevertheless according to the Gospel, it is clearly taught that someone who is called a saint in Christ Jesus cannot be simultaneously under the curse and the blessing because, the blessing and the curse are mutually exclusive; they do not meet. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. Is Christ made a curse for us in vain? Most certainly not. Those who have received the Spirit have equally received the blessing of Abraham. The blessing of Abraham is never identified with poverty. The blessing of Abraham in its effect is material prosperity, possessions, affluence and influence; silver and gold, men-servants and maid-servants. The effect of the blessing of Abraham is material wealth; earthly possessions. This is what has come on the Gentiles. The Gentiles were once a people group who had absolutely no association with the dealings of God. 2000 years ago, something happened at the cross that changed the people group called Jews and Gentiles, and a new people group was introduced called the Church. If you are blessed, it is not possible that you be cursed because you are now part of the church. You are not going to experience what Christ has fulfilled for you unless your mind rests beyond argument of these realities of the Gospel. Confession of faith Eternal Father, Thank you for the substitution of Jesus Christ. He was made a curse for me. On the cross he took all that was associated to Adam and his fall. When He died it was buried once and for all; my curses were buried, sicknesses were buried, poverty was buried and death was buried. I profess today that Jesus Christ is Lord of my life. I live by the faith of the Son of God and He says I am blessed, whole, prosperous and rich, preserved, complete, entire and wanting nothing; AMEN.
