05/02/2014......THE VIEW FROM ZAMBOANGA CITY by ZCin2020 columnist Juanito Delgado: Yesterday, Beng Salazar told media that she is supporting the “No Te Vayas De Zamboanga Project” of Celso Lobregat. Celso launched this project last week aimed at convincing the people that she is still around. Poor Beng, this project, meaningless as it is, is only aimed at keeping Celso in the consciousness of the gullible populace.. in time for the 2016 mayoralty elections. Unless Beng is clueless about the 2016 election, she should know that Celso will run for mayor anew. He ran for the PADAP-less congress only because he cannot run for mayor in the last election, having already served three consecutive terms. The title of the program itself is wrong. If I remember right the title of this National Anthem for Zamboanga is “No te vayas a Zamboanga” or “Don’t you go to far Zamboanga” the word “de” ,means “of” so Celso’s corruption of the title would translate “Don’t you go of far Zambaonga.. “ which is nonsense, And by openly supporting Celso’s program, Beng Salazar is joining a program that is aimed ultimately at deposing her as mayor of Zamboanga. One hypocrite deserves another! ==========
