05-06JAN15 UPDATE: Tomorrow morning we have an appointment in Atlanta to get expedited passports. Make A Wish has been unsure whether or not the trip to Australia would be a possibility given the short notice, and the limited travel window we have before treatment starts back up. But, we made the appointment a few days ago just in case. Well, 10 minutes ago Make A Wish in Cary, NC called me and said Graces wish has been granted...absolutely unbelievable, Grace and family are going Down Under! Grace has been so excited the last few days because after we get our passports we are heading to Fayetteville. She hasnt been home since the 9th of November and is happy beyond words to be heading that way! She so dearly misses her room, her friends, her teachers, her toys, and everything/everyone else she left back in NC. She has no idea about the trip to Australia being approved though, and will absolutely be on cloud nine when she hears the news. Blessings continue to find their way down to us, and despite the graveness of our situation, these blessings give Amy and I continued hope and strength. We have had meals delivered almost daily for the last 2 months, and rarely does a day go by that Grace and the kids dont receive a package in the mail. Christmas was amazing....Santa definitely had to take 2 or more trips. Donations for Grace have flowed like a fire hose, and most recently LWRCI raised over $15,000 dollars for Grace. It is absolutely amazing what you all have done to support Graces fight, and although there is no way I could ever thank each and every one of you individually, please accept this as your own personalized thank you from Amy, Myself, Jackson, Sophia, Charlotte, and most definitely Ms. Grace!
