08/13/13 Today was a bit of a “virtual” day if you will, inside my head that is, somewhat surreal but sustainable… You know those days, the ones where you’re drivin’ down the road and you have a memory, an afterthought…some word on the radio sparks it…you just put your mind on the road and yet feel the moistness in the corners of your eyes…letting you know, you need to cry…and yet, you hold back… Staring into the rearview, you see your eyes are bloodshot, whether it’s from sleepless nights, a sudden poke in the eye…or that moment when you knew you needed to let go, let it out. …and in that moment, you realize that time you needed is not feasible at this point in time…never has been at any time…you push it aside but don’t let go…just pack that thought away for that rainy day…that day that feels so far away and yet you are most certain, it will never come…the drought continues… another day in the life… Love & Hugs
