08/21/1983 I left Czechoslovakia (today Czech Republic) with 5 kids and ex-husband - the date was important to me because 08/21/1968 Russians invaded my country and stayed there till 1989 - living under communist and Russian dictator ship was not life or good future for my kids so we decide to escape - after short visit to my ex husband family in former Croatia (mostly to say our good byes) we ended it up in refugee camp in Austria to await political visas to come to America..... on 12/19/1983 USA became our new home - life was good most of the time, but there was heartaches 2 (loosing Simon at age 14) My kids grew up, became parents and are doing very well with their lives and families I am staring 31st year today since I left Prague and never been back Today Mike & I should of arrive in Prague for visit with my family but because of big move we had to postpone it and home for spring 2014
