08/25/14 (0519) A Temple of God For this God is our God for ever and ever; He will be our guide even to the end. Psalm 48:14 This psalm of the Sons of Korah is about the temple and the God of the temple. The God of the temple is more important than the temple itself - this must be true of us as well. Our religion should point to God, and not to the structures that we erect around our religion. We must worship the Lord in such a way that people notice Him rather than beautiful clothes, expensive buildings and lofty prayers. Then our lives will have the quality of Jerusalem, the city that points to God and displays the glory of God. Eternal and unchanging God, thank You that You are also my God and that You will guide me safely into the house of the Father. Amen. Grace for Today
