080914 UPDATE Koa is stable. His lungs look 80% better. But his right lung is still trying to fully flush the last of the last of the galas, so Koa has desat episodes still. His blood work shows that Koas sodium is still elevated but slowly coming down. Potassium a tad elevated. His BUN is elevated so slight dehydration. And his platelettes still borderline low. Because of the low platelettes Koa tends to bruise very easy & bleed more. Theyve discontinued his Lasix. And they re-added 400ml free water to his diet to replace the hydration. Dad & sister will be going home tomorrow evening to tend to things at home. And assess things. Hope everyone back home is hanging in there.
