1- Hazrat Abu Huraira (ALLAH be pleased with both of them) reported Allah messenger (May peace be upon him) as saying : The fast is for my sake, so I will reward (the fasting person) for it and the reward of good deeds is multiplied 10 to 700 times. He has left his desires & foodstuff only for my sake. There are two happiness for fasting person. On at the time of iftar (Break the fast) and second at the time of meeting with ALLAH. The smell coming out from the mouth of a fasting person is better in the sight of ALLAH than the smell of mushk. Sahe Muslim, (Page 580, Hadees # 1151) 2- Fasting is the shield ( or a screen or a shelter). So the fasting person should not behave foolishly and impudently and if somebody fights with him or abuses him, he must tell him, i am fasting. Sahe Bukhari, (Book# 1, Page 624, Hadees # 1894)
