1- Those who have badly spoken of people to you would very likely speak badly of you to other people, dont trust them. 2- Those who mistrust other people for no good reason are very likely not worthy of your trust. 3- Anything that has not been earned will very likely go unappreciated. 4- Most people look good from a distance, so take careful calculated steps until you get close enough and see for yourself if they would still look as good up close (needless to say, Im not talking about physical appearance) 5- Stay true to your heart in all you say or do, that way its very unlikely for you to have regrets no matter what happens. 6- Do not ever do whatever it is that you wouldnt like having done to you, no exceptions. 7- Never be close to people who do not share the same moral code or set of values as you. 8- If you have a gut feeling about someone, even for a moment, dont act upon it, but pursue to verify it. It happened for a reason. 9- Never regret an act of good will even if it back fires. One day when you least expect it, it will pay off. 10- Fact of life: shit happens. Has nothing to do with who you are or what you have or havent done in particular. Dont take it too personal, it happens to all of us too. 11- If someone screwed you over once, they are very likely to do it again. Turn the page, move on and dont look back. 12- Hurt people hurt people. 13- People wont change for you, period. For someone to change, it takes years of hard work, perseverance, and conviction, good luck waiting for that to happen. 14- People are packages, you take it all or leave it all, but before you make either decision, make sure you know it all first. 15- The shortest distance between two points is a straight line.
