1/31/14 Update on Frank: They did a wash out on his abdomen placed new dressing . Stable but still Critical .. Theres a nail just below the knee to help with his leg, of resetting. His ankle needs surgery too, some time down the road. They also have him in traction for the pelvis, and that too will need surgery down the road. His stomach is still bloated, so hes not sewn up yet, they are just keeping it open but replace with the dressing. His leg has a boot shoe and is holding in place. He is having food, but it is liquidfied .. Not eating solids. just liquid.. That was todays visit when we got there around 1:00 Also he was moved to room 2.. We returned at 7: When we walked in he didnt have the blanket on .. He looked comfortable. You can see how the leg was bandaged, by his foot with the boot on and the traction rod. You could see that he also had a scrapped knew on the left leg, . He is still wearing the neck brace to keep his head still . We noticed that he was alert, he blinked his eyes as we talked to him. He cant talk yet but he is aware of people around him. So all good today. Will go up again some time tomorrow.. Im sure there will be others up there being the weekend.. Still only 2 at a time .. We told him that many prayers were being said to him and he just blinked so he knew.. :) Thanks for the prayers, he sure needs them...
